Iceni (Britain, Northern East Anglia).
AR unit of Bury diadem type, circa 50-40 B.C.
Female head left, heart-shaped ear, wearing lunar crown, serpent before.
Horse galopping left, tiny s-shaped mane, solar “anemone” and ringed-pellets above, ringed-pellet below, quatrefoil (partly off-flan) in front.
1,51 g. Van Arsdell, CCB 80 ; BMC 3524. Rare. Nice tray patina. Extremely fine

The head may be of Sirona, a Celtic goddess of healing often seen with a snake coiled around her arms.
