We burned with some oil in these lamps to get clearer. Mainly for domestic use, they knew an evolution in their shape and their decoration which allows to date them and to determine their origin.
This oil lamp of Roman type, in the shape of disk, is decorated with two dwarfs tightrope walkers. The round lip is decorated with two volutes. On the reverse side of the lamp is affixed the signature: L.M. ADIEC.
