Head of Dionysos or Hermes.
Antico rosso. Height 16,7 cm. AL.
Time of Hadrianus, 117-138. Roman empire.
Some small chips otherwise very well preserved.

Copy of a Greek original of 460/450 B.C. following C. Gasparri, it could be an hermes of Dionysos, work of an unknown master (LIMC III, 1986, 443 N° 184 (Type of the Galleria delle Carte geografiche).
