Bronze. Length 6,7 cm.
Early 1st millenium B.C. Luristan (?) (Iran).

Luristan knew with his semi-nomadic population a long tradition of the bronze. These pendants, found in large number in graves, represent a rich bestiary in the pure and realistic forms. They were provided with a characteristic suspension loop in Luristan and used as jewels, amulets, lucky charm. The mane from the two foals is returned by stripes.
